This is one of London's best centrally located hotels, on the edge of London's famed 'Theatreland' and close to cosmopolitan Covent Garden. The Strand Palace Hotel has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment (2007-2008) to its 500 bedrooms, public areas, restaurants and meeting rooms. By air: London Heathrow to the Strand Palace Hotel: from airport to hotel - 16 miles east. The easiest way to reach us is by using the Underground (Piccadilly line from Heathrow to Covent Garden). BY CAR: Take M4 heading into Central London - this then becomes A4. Stay on A4 and follow the signs for West End. After crossing Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar square, you will see Charing Cross Station on your right. 500 yards further on the left-hand side is the Strand Palace Hotel. NB. Remember that driving in Central London incurs a congestion charge at certain times. BY TRAIN: The nearest rail links are Charing Cross & Waterloo stations. Charing Cross is located on the Strand, a few hundred metres from the hotel. Waterloo is linked to Charing Cross Underground station by the Northern and Bakerloo lines.
