The Walton Guest House - Edinburgh

The Walton Guest House is a privately run bed-and-breakfast hotel in Edinburgh city centre. Its central location, free Wi-Fi and good breakfast will suit all types of traveller. Set in the heart of the New Town area, Walton Guest House is very comfortable and has good quality facilities. Princes Street is a 10-minute walk away. Waverley Train Station and St Andrews Bus Station are about 10 minutes’ walk away. Each of the 10 rooms has recently been decorated and has private en suite facilities.

Coming from the west, follow the road signs for Edinburgh City Centre and you will eventually arrive at the West End of Princes Street. Princes Street is closed to traffic travelling east, so follow the flow of traffic down onto Queen Street and then take a left at Queen Street Gardens East, which changes into Dundas Street after a short distance. The Hotel is on the right as you travel down. From the east, follow the road signs for Edinburgh City Centre and you will eventually arrive at the East End of Princes Street. Travel west on Princes Street and turn right on to Hanover Street. At Queen Street Gardens East Havnover Street changes into Dundas Street. The Hotel is on the right as you travel down.

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday between 8am - 9am and weekends from 8:30am - 9:30am. Our breakfast offers traditional Scottish breakfasts with a selection of grilled and cooked foods, as well as a variety of fresh continental breakfast choices. The hotel offers vegetarian food for those who prefer a vegetarian breakfast menu. Please note on the 1st January there will be no cooked breakfast, instead we will deliver a packed breakfast to your room.

Please note this is a non smoking Hotel. For bookings over £500 25 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of the booking, this is a non-refundable deposit.
