Situated in one of Edinburgh's most desirable locations, opposite the Royal Botanic Gardens, this early-Victorian town house is also within easy reach of the city’s renowned Princes Street.
Ideal for both business and leisure breaks in Edinburgh, this small bed-and-breakfast hotel is set in the centre of the city, nestled amid fine terrace Georgian and Victorian houses, where Robert Louis Stevenson once lived.
In the evenings you can sample the great selection of local restaurants, including: French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Indian and a bar/bistro serving modern European meals.
The Inverleith is the first accommodation establishment in the city centre with on-street, all-day parking at an additional cost and free at weekends.

Please note that the Brandon apartment is a self-catering apartment a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast is not included.
AREA INFORMATION
Public transport is also available to take you into the centre of Edinburgh and to the old Town, where Edinburgh castle and the Royal Mile are situated. The open-top tour-bus can also be picked up close to the hotel.
The Royal Yacht Britannia can be accessed easily by using the City Tour Bus, which can be picked up close to the hotel. This is a hop-on/hop-off tour and is an excellent way of getting around the city, also bringing you back to the hotel conveniently.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
By Car:
- From city centre travel down Hanover Street towards Canonmills and the Royal Botanic gardens.
- Turn left at Canonmills roundabout on to Howard Street and Inverleith Row.
- Turn left by sign saying to West Gate Botanic Gardens (Inverleith Terrace).
- The Inverleith can be found at number 5.

A Light snack room service menu is also available each day. The hotel also has a licensed residents bar, specializing in malt whisky.
