GENERAL INFORMATION
Home to one of Edinburgh’s most infamous pubs, The Three Sisters, this lively hotel boasts a convenient position in the heart of the city, just 1 minute’s walk from Princes Street.
Originally built in 1621 for The Guild of Tailors, the Tailors Hall Hotel has had many uses over the last 4 centuries before being restored in 1998 to offer a 3-star hotel. Today the hotel provides 42 guestrooms, complete with a range of modern comforts to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.
A very unique feature of Tailors Hall is the cobbled courtyard to the front of the hotel, with a huge outdoor plasma screen. Perfect for catching the sun during summer and with covered and heated seating areas for the winter, it is ideal for any occasion.
Please note that the bar and courtyard can result in noise affecting some rooms overlooking the courtyard, especially at weekends.

From the West End of Princes Street (A8):
- Turn right up Lothian Road.
- Take the first left down Kingstables Road.
- Continue until you reach the Grassmarket.
- Turn left into the Grassmarket and continue until you reach the Cowgate.
- The hotel is situated 300 yards along on your right-hand side.
Edinburgh Waverley train station: 0.3 miles
Edinburgh airport: 7 miles
Regular buses to various destinations means you will not require a car to travel, however cars can be parked in the secure NCP car park situated on St Johns Hill at the Pleasance.

In the morning a full Scottish and continental breakfast selection is available in the first floor breakfast area, a truly original space boasting stone vaulted ceilings, cast iron supporting pillars and exposed walls.
The Three Sisters Pub is open from 09:00-01:00. World famous for its welcoming atmosphere, lively character and themed events, it is as synonymous with Edinburgh as Princes Street or the Military Tattoo! You can enjoy major sporting events on the large screen in the cobbled courtyard.
