Unique to ‘One’ is the outdoor hydro-pool: a stainless steel pool cut into the rooftop of the building with a cedar plank curved rear wall, accessed by swimming from the indoor hydro-pool. Dramatically lit at night, the 35ºC salt water evaporates into a soft mist in the air above the pool creating an unforgettably relaxing and romantic image.

Whilst a stay on New Year’s Eve will allow you to enjoy the World-famous Hogmanay (tickets are necessary in advance, not available from the hotel).

- Follow the A1 West into Edinburgh.
- Follow the signs to the city centre.
- The hotel is located just off the west end of Princes Street, on the West Approach Road, just before the EICC.
From the North:
- Take the M90 from the North of Scotland, which passes through Perth.
- Cross the Forth Road Bridge and follow directions to Edinburgh City Centre.

Children (under 16) must be accompanied by an adult and can only access the swimming pool between 15:00 and 17:00 (weekdays) or between 08:30 and 09:30 (weekends). Children cannot use the gym, the Cleopatra Baths, the hydro-pool or the thermal suite.
