Old Waverley Hotel - Edinburgh

The Old Waverley Hotel, located on Edinburgh's famous Princes Street, ensures everything is right on your doorstep. Many of the rooms offer stunning views of Edinburgh Castle. This hotel is a landmark building in the centre of the city - the perfect location for exploring the many varied attractions in Edinburgh. Bar lunches are available in the hotel lounge, while Cranston’s Restaurant offers fine dining with a view of the castle. Guests will find value for money and the highest standards of customer service. The Old Waverley Hotel has Wi-Fi internet access throughout (you will need a laptop).

For an additional cost, guests can use the leisure centre of a nearby 4-star hotel (a 10-minute walk away).

From the M6: - Continue onto the A74(M) exiting at junction 13 onto the A702 which eventually leads right into Edinburgh. - Once in the city, follow signs for Edinburgh Waverley train station. The hotel is almost opposite the Princes Street exit. From the A1: - Follow the A1(M) for Edinburgh. - Follow signs for city centre and then Waverley train station. The hotel is almost opposite the Prices Street exit. The hotel has no car parking of it own, though guests of the hotel receive a 20% discount on parking at the nearby Greenside Place NCP on Leith Street (just of the East End of Princes Street). Please bring the ticket you get from the car park to the hotel reception to get this discount.

Bar lunches are available in the hotel lounge from 11am each day. In the evening, Cranstons Restaurant offers fine dining in stunning surroundings. Enjoy our varied menu while admiring the stunning castle views! Dinner is served from 6.30pm until 9.30pm each evening. Reception will be happy to make a reservation.

Please note that the hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users, as there is no lift from the ground floor of the building to the first floor, where the hotel is located. There is a lift from the first floor to the rest of the hotel floors.
