Harvest Guest House - Edinburgh

This early Victorian town house is situated on the promenade in Portobello, a charming and distinctive district of Edinburgh. Several of our guest rooms have fine views of the Firth of Forth. Local amenities include a sport centre, swimming pool, and not far from Musselburgh, horse race course and golf clubs. Local amenities are excellent and include various restaurants and takeaways, sundry shops and traditional pubs. This house is a non-smoking establishment.

The guest house is convenient for Musselburgh horse course and local Golf courses. We are situated right in front of the Portobello promenade at Straiton Place.

There is a regular and efficient bus service to the city centre. Portobello is a mere 15 minute bus ride from Edinburgh city centre which runs every 10 minutes from early morning through to about 23:30. Buses to and from the city centre are the 26, 15, 15A (red buses) and 66 and 129 (SMT buses). There is in addition a night bus service available. The A1 and the city bypass are situated nearby. When you approach Edinburgh by car: - follow the city bypass and continue onto the A1. - follow signs for Portbello and turn into Bellfield Street from Portobello High Street. Straiton place is at the foot of Bellfield Street and close to Portobello swimming pool.
