TRAVEL INFORMATION
By Car (from London and the M25 motorway):
- Take the M3 towards Southampton.
- Leave the M3 at junction 14 and take the M27 motorway.
- The M27 eventually becomes the A31.
- Leave the A31 and take the A338 towards Bournemouth.
- The A338 leads onto Wessex Way.
- Follow the signs to the East Cliff and the seafront, where the Carlton is situated.
By Train:
Trains run regularly from London Waterloo train station to Bournemouth’s central train station. The travel time of this train journey is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes.
FOOD&BEVERAGE
Savour a splendid meal in Fredrick’s restaurant, with the sea as a stunning, sparkling backdrop. With the emphasis on choice, the à la carte restaurant’s head chef has produced an imaginative series of menus, with dishes ranging from classic British food to specialities influenced by the latest trends in continental cuisine. Freshly created using carefully selected ingredients and seasonal produce, the hotel prides itself on the quality and variety of its cuisine. The same care and attention goes into preparing banquets for up to 180 delegates as individual meals. Fredrick’s is a superb award-winning restaurant and was the recipient of an AA Rosette for the outstanding preparation of its food and the good quality of the ingredients it uses. The restaurant has an elegant, traditional atmosphere and a formal dress code applies. In the evening, gentlemen must wear long trousers and a collar and tie, while ladies can enjoy the opportunity to dress for dinner.
