Commodore Hotel - Bournemouth

Located on the cliff tops at Southbourne, next to the cliff lifts and Fisherman's Walk, this hotel has spectacular views. It is close to the New Forest and Bournemouth town centre. Panoramic sea views across Poole Bay take in Swanage to the West, and Hengistbury Head and the Isle of Wight to the East. Great-value food and drinks, including Real Ales, are served daily in the lounge bar. Commodore Hotel was used to house American airmen in WW2. Today, following refurbishment, each bedroom has a brand-new bed with luxurious duvets and pillows, and Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. Bathrooms have new fittings and power showers.

By Car (from the A338): - Leave the A338 at the airport/Christchurch exit and follow the signs to Christchurch. - After the humpback railway bridge take the 1st right and keep on this road. - At the 2nd roundabout go straight ahead towards Southbourne beaches. - Take the 5th turn to the left and the sea will be in front of you. - Turn right onto the coast road; we are approximately 2 km along this road.

The lounge bar offers good food every day, with the panoramic sea views as a beautiful backdrop. If you simply wish to relax, then you can enjoy a drink from the superb range of real ales, wines and spirits. The hotel is also family-friendly, as children are welcome in the family eating area.
