The Waldorf - Blackpool

Situated on Blackpool’s South Promenade, with its works of art and clean sandy beaches, the hotel is ideally placed for both business and leisure. At the southern end of the famous Golden Mile, The Waldorf is just a few minutes walk from the world-famous Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle tropical swimming complex. You can hop on one of Blackpool’s traditional trams and take the short ride to the Tower, piers and Sea-Life Centre. Close to the M55, the hotel boasts excellent transport links around the area and to the airport. A short car or bus journey will bring you to the zoo and Stanley Park. A little further afield, you can visit the Lakes (about one hour by car).

By Plane: Blackpool international airport is 1.5 miles away from the hotel. By Train: Blackpool Pleasure Beach station is 0.2 miles away. By Tram: The nearest tram stop is approximately 100 metres from the hotel. By Road: From the M6: - Take the M55 to the very end (junction 4). - Follow the signs for Blackpool Airport and continue to the seafront. - Turn right towards the tower and after about 1 mile you will notice a large mirror ball on the promenade. - Almost immediately at this point there are 2 turnings on the right. - Take the 2nd of these into Bourne Crescent. - The Waldorf is situated at the centre of the crescent, overlooking the promenade.

The Waldorf has 2 cosy, well-stocked bars and, for those of you that wish, you can take your drinks into the sun lounge and watch the world go by. For breakfast, you can choose from either a light continental or the big English breakfast.

All rooms in the hotel are strictly non-smoking. Persons smoking in the room will incur a GBP 50 per night charge which will be applied directly to the credit or debit card used to make the reservation and asked to vacate the hotel - No refunds will be given. For the comfort of its guests, The Waldorf does not accept bookings from large same-sex groups, nor those from stag or hen parties. In the event that your reservation proves to be one, or part of one of these groups, The Waldorf reserves the right to cancel the reservation and to charge your credit or debit card with the entire cost of that reservation.
