The Baron - Blackpool

Extensively upgraded for 2009, the Baron is a quiet, select guest house on Blackpool’s seafront, offering free parking and 4-star guest accommodation in attractive en suite rooms. Privately owned and run, the Baron has received a 4-star guest accommodation rating from VisitBritain, the tourist board of the United Kingdom. All of the rooms are tastefully decorated, with coordinated furnishings and flat-screen TVs with Freeview digital channels, radio, and CD/DVD players. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities and comes with complimentary mineral water and toiletries. Six of the rooms have spectacular sea views and ground-floor rooms for elderly or disabled guests and wheelchair users are available. A full traditional cooked English breakfast is included in the price and is made using locally sourced produce. The Baron has a great location, right on the seafront, only a few minutes' walk along the promenade from the North Pier, Blackpool Tower and all of the town’s shops and theatres.

Comfortable, quiet and relaxing, the Baron does not accept bookings for hen or stag parties or single-sex groups, and does not cater for children. The hotel has 2 free car parks. The rear car park offers level access to the ground-floor rooms, which are particularly suitable for the elderly and wheelchair users. There is a passenger lift to the dining room and to the bedrooms on the first and second floors.
