Part of the beauty of the 4 star Channings Classic is that it is hidden in the tree-lined crescent of South Learmonth Gardens, away from the hubbub of the city's West End, yet only a ten-minute leisurely stroll away.

While near the centre of Edinburgh, the atmosphere is that of a charming townhouse.

Channings enjoys a quiet location, set on a cobbled street overlooking private gardens, yet is only 10 minutes' walk from the West End, where you can explore the city's many tourist attractions, such as Princes Street, the main shopping area overlooking Edinburgh Castle. Should you wish to stay very close to home, Channings is just a short stroll from the very fashionable area of Stockbridge, often described as a 'village within the city'. Relax and unwind as you enjoy the vibrant cafe-culture that has developed and wander through the many one of a kind boutiques and galleries which have emerged in recent years, making this one of Edinburgh's trendiest areas.

Parking Restrictions: Car parking is available on South Learmonth Gardens and the surrounding area. This is charged at GBP 0.70 per hour (for a maximum of 4 hours), Monday - Friday from 08.30 to 17:30. Outside these times the parking is free of charge.
