Austwick and the Yorkshire Dales National Park offer some dramatic scenery, with spectacular walks running literally from the hotels doorstep. Austeick Traddock is perfectly positioned for the Three Peaks of Whernside, Pen-y-ghent and Ingleborough. Also in the immediate locality is some of the most dramatic limestone scenery in Europe, including the Ingleborough Cave, with its dazzling stalactites and stalagmites. Nearby is Malham Cove, once a waterfall and now an impressive cliff, topped by an extensive area of limestone pavement. The renowned Settle to Carlisle Railway – passing through some of the most spectacular Dales and Lakeland landscapes including the Ribblehead Viaduct – is a popular day out.

By Car: Austwick is located a mile off the A65 between Skipton & Kendal, approximately 2 miles north west of Settle and 13 miles south east from Kirkby Lonsdale. By Train: London Kings Cross to Settle (3.5 hour journey) and 7-minute taxi ride from Settle station to the Austwick Traddock.
